With the increasing costs of living expenses these days, we are all looking for ways to save some money. When it comes to heating your home, it's no different. Home heating costs can add up very quickly! When we bought our home, it already had a nice, like new propane furnace in it. We were excited about this feature of our home since the fuel is clean and is delivered directly to our propane tank by the propane company. This was great until we had to fill it. We spent over 0, and this only lasted a little over a month! Needless to say, the excitement level dropped considerably after that. Since Winter lasts for several months, we needed to look for other options.

There are many good pellet stove brands out there so you'll have plenty of good ones to choose from. Search for online reviews from sites such as opinions, where consumers write in to tell about their experiences with various products.
You'll also want to see how accessible pellet stove fuel is in your area, and how much it will cost you. If you plan to burn wood pellets - price them at your local hardware stores, Lowes, Home Depot, or farm stores. See if you can buy pellets in bulk to save some money. You may also check into burning corn pellets if you live in area where corn is easily accessible, such as Midwest farming communities.
